Baby Blue is a digital artwork that captures the peacefulness and harmony of the sea at night. The rich blue tones and swirling sky, created using generative art, draw the viewer into a tranquil and introspective state. The landscape view, with the distant hills and serene waters, invites contemplation and self-reflection. As the artist writes in its accompanying poem, the deep bosom of the sea can aid in finding inner peace. This piece is a suitable meditation on the beauty and power of nature to calm and soothe the soul.
Day & Night is a project that merges packaging design and NFT art through augmented reality (AR). Using the Artivive App, users can interact with the package cover illustration and learn about the artwork and its story through an immersive and emotional experience on their smartphone or tablet. The project features bold geometric shapes and vibrant colors to add energy and movement to the artwork, and explores the theme of day and night to add depth and meaning. The project was created for WhaleShark's "RareDigitalArt x Packaging Design" initiative and will be available for purchase in over 500 stores in China. By utilizing AR technology, Day & Night brings NFT art to a wider audience and showcases the potential of combining art and technology in innovative ways. The project aims to create a unique and memorable experience and pushes the boundaries of traditional packaging design.
Fantasy Mountains is an animated, geometric, and colorful piece that showcases the use of generative art techniques. The NFT piece depicts a series of memphis abstract mountain landscapes, each with its own fish details. Just turn on a Vivaldi's La Primavera 3rd Movement Allegro and chill.
The magic of the Northern Lights with Sturec's NFT illustration, "Aurora"... This digital artwork combines 2D animation and illustration techniques to bring the celestial beauty of the aurora borealis to life at least on a computer. As the night fades away and the dawn breaks, "Aurora" captures the fleeting beauty of the natural world, inviting you to get lost in its captivating colors and patterns. Let's all listen to Chopin Nocturne Op 9 No 2.
Cycle is a 2D animation that explores the concept of life cycles and the passage of time. Created using Adobe Illustrator, this piece is filled with dark, moody colors that capture the complexity and mystery of the cycle of life. Whether you're a fan of 2D animation or simply looking for some dark stuff coming from a child's nightmare painted on an ipad, Cycle will be there for you. Okay for this one, I need a dark piece, coming from Erik Satie - Gnossienne No 1.
Alone is a 2D animation that explores the complexities of solitude. With the dark and evocative colors, it delves into the depths of the human experience, capturing the bittersweet feeling of being alone while also yearning for connection. Using simple imagery and illustration style, Alone invites viewers to consider the delicate balance between solitude and companionship, and the impact that this balance has on the human psyche. This piece is for the ones who has ever grappled with the question of what it means to be truly alone, and how to find solace and meaning in the midst of it all. Again with a soul crushing, suicidal music suggestion from my favorite composer: Chopin - Nocturne No 20 in C Sharp Minor... Hush...
Bowed is a digital 2D animation that showcases my signature geometric fish element. The original piece was hand-drawn and painted in 2011 using gouache, and was later digitally enhanced in November 2019. It looks like a super simple Adobe Illustrator file, but I assure you it took me months to finish that god damn gouache painting. Also the painting was ruined and lost, but it was ruined before it was lost, so it's fine, no worries. Also I never want to use gouache again. I do not want to listen to anything with this, I am too sad.

What Sturec Really Means About this NFT Collection:
Feeling lonely? Don't worry, you're not alone! Just like the lonely figures in Sturec's Ownsome illustrations, you too can stare longingly into the distance while surrounded by trippy landscapes. At least you can admire the pretty colors and fancy generative art techniques while you contemplate your inevitable solitude. So go ahead and wallow in your loneliness with these depressing artworks. You'll feel even more alone, but at least you'll have some cool digital art to look at while you do it.
Ownsome #3 is a piece that blends elements of landscape, color, and pattern to create a unique style. The use of bold, vibrant colors in the mountains and sky is balanced by the calm, cool tones of the tourquoise sea, creating a sense of harmony and balance. The presence of the origami ships and the lone swimmer adds a sense of mystery and solitude, inviting the viewer to consider the hidden secrets that may lie within the waves. The piece encourages us to embrace our own individual journey and seek out the inner peace that can be found within the natural world. Okay, let's cut the crap, this piece is all about betrayal and injustice.
Ownsome #2 explores the relationship between the individual and the natural world. The warm, vibrant colors and sharply defined mountains create a sense of energy and intensity, while the lone figure standing on the edge of the frame invites contemplation and introspection. Just consider the solitude of the human experience, and the ways in which we connect with and find meaning in the world around us. You are on your own.
For Ownsome #4, the use of vibrant, rainbow-like colors and the depiction of an individual standing alone amidst a sea of monochromatic, textured buildings highlights the feeling of isolation and disconnection in modern society. Enhance the frenetic energy of the world around you... Trust no one.
